Wash N Folded – Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By scheduling a pickup, placing an order, or using any Wash N Folded (“WNF,” “we,” “us,” “our”) website, mobile app, or service, you (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”) agree to these Terms of Service and the policies referenced herein. These Terms govern all aspects of laundry pickup, processing, delivery, membership, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
2. Eligibility and Account Registration
- You must be 18 years or older and legally capable of entering into binding agreements.
- You agree to provide accurate information, maintain one account per household, and keep your payment method current.
- Failure to maintain valid account details may result in suspension or termination.
3. Service Scope
WNF provides pickup, wash, dry, fold, and delivery of machine-washable laundry. We do not offer dry cleaning or garment pressing services.
All laundry is washed separately per customer order in sanitized commercial-grade equipment.
4. Refusal of Service
To protect our team and facilities, WNF reserves the right to refuse or return unprocessed laundry that contains, in whole or in part:
- Blood, urine, feces, vomit, or bodily fluids beyond normal household traces
- Mold, mildew, bedbugs, lice, or other infestations
- Chemical contamination (e.g., gasoline, solvents, oils, paint)
- Excessive debris, pet hair, or garbage
- Unwashable materials or non-machine-safe fabrics
If such laundry is received:
- It may be returned “AS IS” unwashed.
- A $35 violation/sanitation fee will apply.
- Repeated violations may result in account termination.
5. Pickup, Delivery, and Missed Appointments
Scheduling
Pickups must be scheduled by 6:00 PM CST the day before service.
Orders have a $45 minimum charge.
Missed Pickups
- Missed Pickup Fee: $15 (curbside) or $30 (doorbell hand-off)
- If cancellation occurs after 6 AM CST on the pickup day, these fees apply.
Delivery
Customers may select:
- Front Porch/Drop-Off (contactless), or
- Doorbell Hand-Off (in-person)
If an unsafe condition (e.g., unrestrained pets, blocked access) prevents delivery, the order may be held, and additional fees may apply.
Weather Policy
WNF double-bags laundry in bad weather but is not liable for damage or theft after drop-off in unsecured areas.
6. Laundry Condition and Customer Responsibility
You certify that all laundry turned over to WNF:
- Is safe and sanitary for handling
- Contains no biohazardous materials
- Is free of sharp objects, jewelry, money, pens, or electronics
- Is machine-washable and labeled accordingly
WNF is not responsible for damage caused by:
- Pre-existing stains or fabric defects
- Items left in pockets
- Color bleeding, shrinkage, or weak fabrics
- Garments without proper care labels
Laundry suspected of contamination will be returned unprocessed and subject to the violation fee.
7. Pricing and Payment
All Services are billed by weight, with a $45 minimum per order.
Prices are published at washnfolded.com and may change without notice.
- Payment is due at order processing via valid credit/debit card.
- Receipts and notifications are provided by email or text.
- Accounts with unpaid invoices may be suspended until balance is cleared.
8. Coverage and Loss Policy
Each order automatically includes FREE coverage up to $75 total, or $25 per garment, whichever is less.
Optional upgrades:
- Basic Coverage ($2): Up to $175 total
- Premium Coverage ($3.50): Up to $400 total
- Premium Plus ($5): Up to $700 total
Claims for loss or damage must be submitted within 24 hours of delivery to hello@washnfolded.com.
Reimbursement will be issued as credit toward future service, not cash.
9. Limitation of Liability
WNF’s total liability for lost or damaged laundry shall not exceed ten (10) times the cleaning cost of the item, capped at $200 per order, even if higher coverage was purchased.
We are not liable for:
- Natural deterioration of fabric or stitching
- Weather-related damage post-delivery
- Customer-provided hangers or bags lost in transit
- Delay due to weather, road closures, or force majeure
10. Safety and Sanitation Policy
For the safety of our Laundry Experts:
- Pets must be secured during pickup and delivery.
- Laundry must be free from insects, mold, or bodily fluids.
- Drivers may refuse unsafe pickup locations or conditions.
Violations incur a $35 sanitation fee, and repeat offenders may be permanently banned.
11. Membership and Promotions
- Memberships require a minimum two-month commitment to qualify for discounts.
- Promotional credits or discounts expire after 30 days and are non-transferable.
- Misuse of promo codes may result in account suspension.
12. Communication & Notifications
By creating an account, you consent to receive:
- Text and email notifications regarding orders
- Occasional marketing or promotional messages (opt-out available)
Standard messaging rates may apply.
13. Termination of Service
WNF reserves the right to:
- Suspend or terminate service for repeated violations, unpaid invoices, unsafe conditions, or abuse.
- Refuse service at any time for any reason, with or without cause.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WNF, its employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your use of the Services, including violation of these Terms or submission of unsanitary or hazardous items.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes shall be resolved in Bexar County, Texas, under binding arbitration.
